Auto Value hosted 40 Latin American shareholder members and guests at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, this past weekend. The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. international membership represented at the event came from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Columbia.
The Alliance has been making large expansions by pursuing membership south of the border. “There is tremendous opportunity for us in South American,” says Daniel Moroles, sales and market development manager for the Alliance, “We are continually seeking out beneficial relationships with potential members. We believe ours is the best group to service their unique needs.”
Juan and Andres Cuevas, president and finance manager of Distri Diesel headquartered in Medellín, Columbia, joined the group in early 2017. “The F1 Race and Circuit of the Americas are amazing,” says Juan Cuevas. “And the time spent with our Latin American partners was an extremely valuable opportunity.”
To thank their Latin American members, Auto Value provided its attendees with full access to all racing trials, seats at the Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder concerts on the COTA super stage, fine dining, and a perfect view of the F1 Grand Prix from the comfort of the Auto Value RV, says the Alliance.
“We are proud to be part of the Alliance and jumped at the chance to attend this race,” says Enrique Orendain, director of sales for Alliance member Mayasa in Guadalajara Jalisco, México.
