Another Mystery Buzz

Some owners of 2007-2013 Chevy Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe models may complain about a buzz or rattle noise during light acceleration around 1,200-2,000 rpm. The noise may also sound like a squeak, creak or tap coming from behind the instrument panel. This could be caused by the fuel line or fuel line bracket above the transmission contacting the floor pan.

Inspect and reposition the fuel line and/or fuel line bracket down away from the floor pan.

The area of fuel line to floor interference is likely at the left front of the transmission pan.
