Radio and Screen On/Off

This bulletin applies to 2013-2014 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 Cab Chassis and 4500-5500 Cab Chassis vehicles, built on or after June 26, 2013, that feature a touch screen. The owner may experience radio and touch screen intermittent lockup, mostly when driving on rough roads. No DTCs will be found.

1. Remove the instrument panel center bezel.

2. Inspect for a plastic injection molded flash bump on the backside of the integrated center stack bezel which may contact the touch screen when installed.

3. Using an appropriate tool, remove the injection molded flash bump on the backside of the center stack bezel to ensure a flush surface. Reinstall the bezel.

Using a razor or small grinder, remove the small bump as shown.
