Noisy Cruze

This bulletin applies to 2014 Chevy Cruze vehicles. A customer may note a fluttering or thumping noise from the side or underneath the vehicle at speeds of 45 mph and above.

Check the air deflectors that are mounted on each side of the body. Make sure that all fasteners are in place and secure.

If fasteners are secure, and the noise remains, it may be necessary to apply felt to the underbody above the inside edge of each air deflector (between each fastener location). Note that if the customer makes frequent trips on gravel roads, it may be necessary to remove the deflectors, clean and reinstall.

Check the integrity of the side-body air deflectors. Secure and/or insulate as needed
