Ingersoll Rand has introduced extended anvil variations of the best-in-class 2145QiMAX 3/4" Impactool. The 2145QiMAX-3 and 2145QiMAX-6 feature 3" and 6" extended anvils to help professional technicians tackle tough applications in hard-to-reach places.
The company says the 2145QiMAX has the durability to withstand tough environments and is proven to increase garage productivity. The 2145QiMAX models offer 1,350 ft.-lbs. of maximum reverse torque and a forward torque range of 200 to 900 ft.-lbs.
The tools are compact, lightweight and feature a patented one-hand forward/reverse button, allowing technicians to be even more proficient on the job.
“The 2145QiMAX-3 and 2145QiMAX-6 Impactools are extensions of the 2145QiMAX with the same great capabilities from a performance standpoint,” says Nate Schmid, marketing manager for Vehicle Services with Ingersoll Rand. “The extended anvil option provides additional benefits for professional technicians, allowing them to access tight spaces without compromising power.”
The 2145QiMAX line features a seven-vane motor that is 16% more efficient than its predecessor, so garage managers spend less money on compressed air. The tools have easy-to-clean inlet prescreens to capture debris, resulting in less downtime and better tool performance for increased productivity.
