No GPS, clock can’t be set

This applies to 2010 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX, Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. The problem may involve no GPS signal to the NAV radio and the inability to set the clock.

The GPS signal to the VCIM is still present and can be verified OK by OnStar. No codes will be stored for this concern.

The possible cause for this issue may be that the blue coax cable connectors 1 and 2 are in the wrong location. Splitter location differs from model to model. The blue connectors are identical from GPS Antenna and GPS Splitter, thus enabling the possibility that the GPS antenna could be directly connected to the OnStar module and allow the GPS splitter to be connected to itself. Refer to the service manual for the specific vehicle involved.

The GPS Antenna and GPS Splitter blue coax connectors are identical and may be improperly located.
