Matco powers up Infinium line

Matco Tools has launched the 12V Infinium cordless line that provides all the advantages of lithium ion, including no battery memory effect, the convenience of cordless, and consistent power and performance.

The tools deliver powerful results with monster torque thanks to a two-speed transmission that provides more torque at lower rpm's, the company says. Plus, the entire platform can be charged on one universal charger that powers more than 10 tools.

“This is the only cordless line that is designed with the automotive professional in mind,” says Jody Baker, senior product marketing manager for Matco Tools. “With line improvements like increased power, more efficiency and the industry’s first 12V battery capacity indicator, the 12V Infinium line of tools provides all of the assets needed to complete tough jobs, in a size small enough to conveniently fit in tight spaces.”

The upgraded Infinium lineup includes:

* Cordless Screw driver with 192 in.-lbs. of maximum torque (20% more torque than the competition, says Matco).

* Cordless Drill Driver with a high torque drivetrain and two speeds – low for more torque at lower rpm's and high for maximum power output.

* Cordless Impact Wrench that’s lightweight but packed with up to 60 ft. lbs. of breakaway torque to access tight spots like intakes, timing covers or collision repair.

* 1/4-inch Air Ratchet with new variable speed ergonomic trigger that feels and provides precise control like an air tool.

* 12V LED Flashlight provides maximum brightness and a focused beam from energy efficient 3W, 136 lumen LED’s, and an adjustable, pivoting head.

* Cordless Mini Polisher/ Fine Sander for reliable performance that maintains speed with a super-duty drivetrain.

Matco’s Infinium line also includes a new two-year warranty with one year of hassle-free service.
