Universal Lubricants is introducing the Flexpak for its ECO ULTRA Synthetic Blend Motor Oil at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nev.

The ECO ULTRA Flexpak is a new way to distribute, store and pour the product. The pouch is constructed of a three-layer polyethylene barrier that provides good burst and seal strength.

“There has been no innovation in motor oil packaging since 1987,” says John Wesley II, CEO.

Wesley says that his product is the next step in the evolution of motor oil containers, which have gone from cans to plastic bottles to the Flexpak. He says the package’s toughness is its greatest strength, and it can be dropped 20 feet without bursting.

Wesley isn’t the only one to notice the attributes of the ECO ULTRA Flexpak. The peggable, landfillable product was honored with a 2012 AAPEX new product award for packaging.

Additional benefits of the product include an easy-pour spout, complete draining, it reduces landfill waste and it displays easily.
