Brembo appoints new chief technical officer

Giorgio Ascanelli has joined the Brembo Group as chief technical officer. He will lead the company’s Advanced Research and Technical Development departments.

Ascanelli began his auto racing career in 1985 with the mechanical engineering staff of Scuderia Ferrari. He also worked for Abarth, Benetton F1 and McLaren F1, before becoming technical director with Maserati Corse in 2002, and then with Scuderia Toro Rosso from 2007 to 2012.
