Identifix has launched a redesigned Vehicle Home Page for users of its online tool, Direct-Hit.
The new page improves the user experience through cleaner design, easier navigation and better display of information, the company notes.
Subscribers will notice a new OEM Service Manuals section, simpler search functionality, faster access to estimating information and a Quick-Hits section to find the most useful fix data more quickly. All redesigned to help increase repair shop productivity.
“Our goal with the redesigned vehicle home page was all about ease of use, helping our customers get to the information they need even faster through improved layout and navigation,” says Aaron Cherrington, vice president of product management and strategy for Identifix. “Our customers who beta tested the enhanced site confirmed that we got it right, reporting both an increase in usage and overall productivity. That’s exactly what we wanted to accomplish.”
The new home page was redesigned to make Direct-Hit simpler, more intuitive and user-friendly. New features include:
* A new Service Manuals section, which provides access to genuine factory service and repair information on more than 30 vehicle makes.
* A Search All section displays the top searches for the vehicle and allows customers the option to limit their search to Service Manuals only.
* The new Estimating section includes tabs for creating maintenance plans, quotes, looking up parts and labor information and checking recalls.
* The Quick-Hits section links to fix data, specifications and repair info that subscribers find most useful. Information type is segmented by tabs within the section.
