The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) reports registration is now open for ToolTech 2015, which will be held April 13-16, 2015, at the Radisson Hotel and Suites Downtown in Austin, Texas.
This year's theme is "The Connected Vehicle: Opportunities and Challenges."
“Information and technology play a key role in the ever-changing automotive repair industry, affecting the future of tool and equipment companies in significant ways,” says the ETI. “Today, high-speed communication links connect vehicles with the automobile manufacturers, their repair facilities, service/customer support, and consumers. This evolving technology requires new and more complex tools and equipment not only to improve current diagnostic methods, but to develop new ones as well.” ToolTech 2015 will take a look at how this evolution will affect your business and how the connected vehicles influence the products you design and market in the near and distant future. It also will cover how aftermarket repair facilities will compete and interact with the new technology.
ETI’s ToolTech 2015 will inform attendees about the connected car evolution through speaker presentations, discussion groups, networking and other dialog, and it also will provide a forum to explore and address opportunities and challenges within today’s automotive aftermarket.
“ETI's ToolTech event is your opportunity to engage in productive discussions, exchange useful information on a variety of topics and issues, and network with industry insiders and peers through speakers and panel presentations, discussion groups, one-on-one meetings, company spotlight press conferences, the ETI business meeting and networking events,” reports the ETI.
