TRW Expands Premium Chassis Program To More Than 3,300 Parts

TRW Automotive’s North American Aftermarket Group has added 81 SKUs to its all-makes premium chassis program, bringing the number of available parts to more than 3,300.

TRW is a division of ZF Friedrichshafen AG (ZF), a Germany-based manufacturer of transmissions as well as chassis components and complete axle systems and modules.

The range extension comprises: seven tie rod ends, 18 stabilizer links, one bellows, five ball joints, five tie rod assembly parts, 35 control arms, two control arm bushings, seven inner tie rods and one pitman arm.

Complementing TRW’s range of premium, all-makes brake pads and with a strong focus on European and Asian Pacific references, this range extension of 81 parts will provide additional coverage on 7 million vehicles.

“Covering 94% of the VIO in North America, we intend to release a large number of additional SKUs by the end of 2015. This all helps to ensure that we remain the partner of choice across North America,” says Brian Rassin, TRW’s product group manager, TRW Aftermarket North America.

Major differentiators of the program include the offer of low friction polymer bearing OE technology and the inclusion in the product box of all installation hardware and fitting instructions, to save the installer time and avoid fitment error. In addition, the program is supported by the highest quality sales and marketing material and is backed by full technical support, according to TRW.
