Clore Automotive Inc. has added Pro-Logix PL2410, a 10/6/2 amp 12/24 volt portable battery charger, to its Solar product line. The new battery charger is fully automatic and has the ability to properly charge all lead acid battery types.

The Pro-Logix PL2410 uses advanced microprocessor-controlled logic to precisely deliver a fully automatic charging routine designed to optimally charge and maintain each battery serviced, according to Clore.

In addition, the PL2410 has the ability to properly charge virtually any vehicle starting battery type, including conventional, absorbent glass mat (AGM), gel cell, spiral wound, deep cycle and marine batteries, providing the versatility needed by today’s shops.

The Pro-Logix PL2410 adapts its approach based on the needs of each battery it services, according to Clore. Such adaptations can include activating a soft start mode on deeply discharged batteries, a battery repair mode on older/distressed batteries and temperature compensation when charging in extreme temperatures.

The new battery charger also incorporates numerous features to make charging safer for the operator and the vehicle/battery being charged, including over-voltage protection, reverse polarity protection and battery fault detection.

Clore designs, develops and manufactures automotive service equipment for professionals and consumers, including jump starters, battery chargers, battery maintainers, battery testers and power inverters. For more information, visit www.cloreautomotive.com.
