Lisle Corp.’s new carbide scraper set is designed to remove gasket residue from steel and aluminum heads and manifolds, along with carbon build-up and even rust.
Tungsten carbide tips are attached to a steel blade that is molded into the comfortable 6-inch long handle. There are two blade widths, 1-1/4 inches and 5/8 inches, to work on many applications. Lisle says the tips remain very sharp and are precision ground.
The carbide tip blades work on many applications including gasket residue, carbon build-up, rust and disc brake caliper slides and other applications where a heavy-duty scraper is needed.
The part number for the set is 81800. The company’s suggested U.S. list price is $71.45.
The scrapers are available individually:
81600: 1-1/4-inch carbide scraper
81700: 5/8-inch carbide scraper
