Cop Car Clunk

The 2011-2012 police interceptor Charger may experience a front end clunk noise, coming from the tension strut bushing(s), when coming to a stop.

Replace both the left and right side tension struts. Refer to the detailed procedures available in DealerCONNECT>TechCONNECT> under Service Info>02-Front Suspension>Front>Strut, Tension, RWD>Removal/Installation.

1) Knuckle; 2) Tension strut; 3) Tension strut retaining nut; 4) Knuckle/ball joint stud attachment point to lower control arm; 5) Retaining nut for lower ball joint.
