This bulletin applies to 2012 Chrysler Grand Voyager vehicles equipped with a 3.6L engine and built before June 25, 2012. The customer may experience a MIL on and the technician may find DTC P0108 (manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit high).
The fix involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the PCM with new software.
Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify that all engine systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs other than the one listed here are present, record and repair as needed before reprogramming.
Install a battery charger to ensure that battery voltage does not drop below 13.2 volts or climb above 13.5 volts during the flash process.
Reprogram the PCM with the latest software. After programming, clear any DTCs that may have set in other modules. Type the necessary information on an authorized modification label (P/N 04275086AD) and attach it near the VECI label.
