This bulletin applies to 2014-2017 Chevy Corvettes. The ABS, Service Traction Control System and/or Service Stabilitrak telltale lights may be on. During initial scan for EBCM module DTCs, you may find one or more DTC C0035-C0050 with specific symptom bytes 18, 5A, 0F.
You may notice a brief and intermittent noise, click, ratchet, grind or ABS pump motor noises typically heard from inside the vehicle at parking lot speeds. A flashing Traction Control or Stabilitrak telltale may be evident at low speeds. These conditions may be caused by single or multiple pieces of ferrous metallic debris stuck to the wheel speed sensor magnetic encoder ring. Inspect and clean debris from the encoder ring.
Some owners of 2013-2018 Cadillac XTS vehicles equipped with a 6-cylinder engine may comment on an exhaust smell and/or leak, with the MIL on. DTC P0430 and/or P0420 may be stored. This may be due to a crack around the catalytic converter mounting flange. If cracks re found, replace the converter.
Some 2011-2016 Lincoln MKT and MKS vehicles equipped with a 2.0L, 2.3L, 3.5L and/or 3.7L engines may exhibit a ting, pop, click and/or continuous tick noises from the front wheel area when accelerating from a stop, turning or when shifting between drive/reverse and/or reverse/drive.
This bulletin applies to 2017 Ram 3500 and 2500 trucks equipped with Man Shift-On-The-Fly transfer case or electric Shift-On-The-Fly transfer case. The bulletin involves inspecting the left front brake hose and wheel speed sensor wire harness.
This bulletin applies to all Acura vehicles. When troubleshooting DTCs for a solenoid or motor power supply circuit failure, keep in mind that even though the control unit activates these components, the power supplied may come from a dedicated circuit and its own separate fuse.
Kia Motors is recalling certain 2017-2018 Kia Optima hybrid vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with a voltage protection device (VPD), designed to protect the high voltage battery module, that may activate inadvertently.
Porsche is recalling certain 2017-2018 Cayenne vehicles equipped with an optional ski bag. The ski bag fastening strap may have been sewn with incorrect thread, possibly resulting in the strap seams tearing and the ski bag being unsecured in the event of a crash.
