This bulletin applies to 2011-2012 Dodge Challenger, Charger and 300C models. The customer may experience a MIL on. The technician may find DTC P0108 stored (MAP sensor circuit high). Updating the software will correct this condition.
Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify that all engine systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs other than P0108 are found, record and repair as needed before reprogramming.
Connect a battery charger to ensure that battery voltage does not drop below 13.2 volts or go above 13.5 volts during the reprogramming.
1. Reprogram the PCM with the latest software.
2. Clear any DTCs that may have set in other modules.
3. Type the necessary information on an authorized modification label and attach it near the VECI label. Modification labels are available under P/N 04275086AD.
