In certain 2019 Corvettes equipped with a 6.2L supercharged engine, a misfire condition could occur when exiting deceleration fuel cutoff.

This bulletin applies to 2019 Chevy Corvettes equipped with a 6.2L LT4 supercharged V8 engine.

In certain 2019 Corvettes equipped with a 6.2L supercharged engine, a fuel injector may be commanded on for 7.5 seconds when exiting deceleration fuel cutoff, causing the engine to misfire. If this misfire condition were to happen, flames could potentially exit the exhaust and may damage the rear fascia and ZR1 badge.

To correct this condition, reprogram the ECM. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module Programming and Setup in SI (service manual).
