Owners of a 2013 Dodge Charger equipped with Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection may experience the blind spot monitor indicator in either outside mirror flashing or on continuously. No DTCs may be found.
Using a scan tool verify that no DTCs are present. If any DTCs are found, record and repair as needed before proceeding.
Install a battery charger to ensure that battery voltage does not drop below 13.2 volts or go above 13.5 volts during the flash process. Using wiTECH, check the part number of the LBSS and RBSS (left and right blind spot sensors). If the part number ends with AB, proceed with the re-flash. If not, this bulletin does not apply.
Flash reprogram the LBSS and RBSS. Clear any DTCs that may set as a result of the reprogramming.
