This bulletin applies to 2014 Mercedes-Benz CL550 vehicles equipped with a 4.6L engine and code B07 ceramic composite brakes. A clattering noise may be heard from the front axle brakes on rough terrain/rough roads.

The cause may be that the pretension of brake lining hold-down springs on the calipers is too low.

To remedy, replace the lining hold-down springs including the pin per workshop references. After installation of new lining hold-down springs, check the installation position.
