Bad Lean

Some 2013-2016 Toyota Sequoia vehicles equipped with air suspension may exhibit a vehicle lean condition towards the left side. The lean condition is noticed when the vehicle is parked. If encountered, this condition is remedied by replacing the left front coil spring.

Note: Coil spring replacement is based on amount of lean

1. Make sure the vehicle has a full tank of fuel.

2. Place the vehicle on an alignment rack to ensure that all 4 wheels are at the same level.

3. Start the engine and cycle the suspension height: low to high; high to neutral (allow the vehicle to sit at each height selection for 10 seconds).

4. Measure vehicle ride height at rear, at the point where the body meets the bumper at each wheel (2 total measurements).

5. Compare the difference values for B-A, and compare to the action table below.

HEIGHT MEASURED VALUE ..….. ACTION ……..………………. 4WD

Less than 10 mm ............................ no action

Between 10 mm and 15 mm........... change front left coil spring.....48132-0C090

Greater than 15 mm.........................change front left coil spring.....48132-0C100
