Gaither Tool Co. Inc. has released the latest version of E-Cube, a compact mobile tire servicing unit.
The E-Cube comes equipped with a semi-automatic tire changer, wheel balancer, silenced air compressor and is powered by a lithium-Ion battery bank. The compact unit measures 59 inches long, 22 inches wide and 73.25 inches tall while weighing 990 pounds. Because of its size, the E-Cube is small enough to fit in a van, box truck, or trailer while still allowing space for jacks, safety equipment, and more.
The latest version of 48 volt E-Cube has been updated, styled, and manufactured in The Netherlands by Gaither’s European project partners. The E-Cube was introduced to the European market two years ago and to the North American market in November 2018.
“Over the past 12 months we have taken the ongoing development of the E-Cube to its present design and format level which we firmly believe is a very special futuristic mobile tire servicing unit that can be successfully operated anywhere in the world,” says Gaither Europe and Gaither Tool President Richard W. Brahler II.
“This further improved E-Cube is going to instantly change how North America is going to view the future of mobile tire servicing as we move into the on demand/anywhere generation of customer servicing.”
Gaither Tool will display the new E-Cube at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in booth #42181 in Las Vegas Nov. 5-8.
The company says in-booth demonstrations will show how technicians can perform services on a mobile basis that would previously require a fully stocked workshop or large box truck.
In addition, the E-Cube provides the opportunity to offer customers additional services during a visit including oil changes, air conditioning service and maintenance.
The E-Cube can be customized to a customer’s own working specifications. Says Brahler: “We recognize and appreciate that different tire dealers have their own preferences on how they want to operate their mobile tire servicing facility. So we have no set agenda and will be as flexible as possible and work with each customer on a personal basis.”
