This bulletin applies to 2017 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles built on or after Sept. 15, 2016, and on or before July 2, 2017, equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) w/Stop. The bulletin involves updating the ABS module software.
Customers may notice when driving on a grade while using ACC and the vehicle comes to a complete stop, that the vehicle may roll back a short distance. Enhanced ABS software has been developed to address this.
1. Reprogram the ABS with the latest software.
2. Using wiTECH, perform Brake Pedal calibration. This routine can be found in Misc. Functions.
3. Using the wiTECH application, run ABS initialization. From the ABS View screen, select Misc. Functions tab to run the initialization.
4. Clear all DTCs that may have set during reprogramming. If the DTCs will not clear, disconnect the scan tool, turn off the vehicle, then open and close the driver’s door. Let all modules go to sleep. This should only take a minute. Reconnect the scan tool and clear the DTCs.
