Bad Jeep PCM

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine and involves replacing the PCM due to a P2226 DTC (barometric pressure sensor). Customers may experience a MIL on, with the vehicle going into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor reading.

Using a scan tool, record and correct any DTCs that may be present. Replace the PCM and clear any DTCs that may set during programming.
