Michelin North America Inc.’s BFGoodrich brand tires are featured in the new game “Road Trippin’.” The game is the result of collaboration between Sears Auto Centers and EA Mobile, a division of mobile games publisher Electronic Arts Inc.
The two companies are incorporating Sears Auto Centers and BFGoodrich Tires products into the game, which is intended to be played on iPads, iPhones and iPods. Road Trippin’ takes players to 100 cities across the United States, while completing challenges along the way.
To support the launch, EA Mobile worked with Sears Auto Centers to bring branded auto shops into the game. Sears Auto Centers are destinations throughout the game where players can tune up their cars, receive “power boosts” and earn extra points. During these pit stops, Sears Auto Centers and BFGoodrich Tires will offer discounts to upgrade players’ tires on their real-life vehicles. This discount will be offered exclusively to Road Trippin’ players through the game.
