Continental Unveils ATE Super DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid

The low viscosity “allows brake systems to react more quickly at cold operating temperatures for improved safety, while its high wet boiling point withstands high brake loads and delivers a longer service life,” according to Continental officials.

The new product handles cold conditions down to minus-40 degrees Fahrenheit and is recommended by car makers. The combination of a high, wet boiling point of 356-degrees Fahrenheit and viscosity at low temperatures “allows brake systems to react more quickly at cold operating temperatures for improved safety, while its high wet boiling point withstands high brake loads and delivers a longer service life,” according to Continental officials.
ATE Super DOT 5.1 only needs to be replaced every three years.
