Openbay Extends Consumer Reach

Openbay is increasing its consumer reach with two recent additions — inclusion with a vehicle service contract provider, and a partnership with an instant delivery service.

Toco Warranty, a direct-to-consumer provider of vehicle service contracts, now includes Openbay+, a service designed to help consumers find automotive service centers that offer services at preferred pricing. It provides discounts for vehicle repairs and maintenance issues not covered by vehicle service contracts.

Gopuff, an instant commerce platform, is using Openbay+ to help its delivery partners access savings for the automotive services they need. The delivery drivers get upfront pricing on repair and maintenance services and can book appointments with service providers on the Openbay+ platform. (Gopuff operates in more than 1,200 cities and communities throughout the U.S.)

There is no fee for an automotive service provider to join the Openbay+ marketplace.
