John Phelps is the Director of Channel Partnerships for Tekmetric Shop Management System. John began his career in the automotive industry as a service advisor for Sewell Automotive Companies in DFW. Throughout his 15-year career, he has served as a Fixed Operations Director, Income Development Consultant for Service Shops and National Service Advisor Trainer. In 2021, John joined Tekmetric as the Director of Channel Partnerships, where he manages relationships with shops and organizations that share Tekmetric’s passion for Transparency, Empathy and Kindness within the industry. With his automotive experience from all sides of servicing shops and customers, John looks to bring new opportunities to those in the independent repair space by offering a unique approach to caring for customers in a way that keeps them ahead of the competition.
