Car Parts Warehouse Acquisitions Will Add $10 Million in Sales
Brookpark, Ohio-based Car Parts Warehouse Inc. has acquired Lake County Parts Warehouse Inc., which has stores in Perry and in Akron, Ohio; and Import Parts Distributor Inc., which operates one store in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The acquisition of Lake County Parts Warehouse and Import Parts Distributor stores will add value to all 35 Car Parts Warehouse locations, according to Tony DiFiore, vice president of Car Parts Warehouse.
“We now have all our bases covered: from import to domestic, and all makes and models. This is just one more reason for professional installers in Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania to make us their first call for hot-shot delivery. Car Parts Warehouse will now operate 35 locations and have more than 250 delivery vehicles on the road.”
Car Parts Warehouse is a shareholder in the Automotive Distribution Network (the Network) program group. The acquisition will further solidify the footprint of the Network across North America, according to Network President David Prater.
“We are proud of Tony and the Car Parts Warehouse team for making this acquisition under the Parts Plus banner,” says Prater.
“This new expansion brings CPW approximately 3,000 new customers with more than $10 million in sales. We are extremely excited to welcome them into the group and look forward to their continued success.”
Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
