ACAT hires controller and human resources director
Charlevoix, Michigan-based Advanced Clean Air Technologies Global (ACAT), manufacturer of lightweight and efficient catalytic converter substrates, has hired James Lentz as controller and Cyndi Noirot as director of human resources.
Lentz is responsible for all accounting functions, including planning, reporting and maintaining key accounting processes. He also develops detailed production cost reports, budgets and forecasts, and contributes to decision making, goal development and implementation of company strategies.
Prior to joining ACAT, Lentz was part of A.L.P. Lighting, formerly known as LexaLite International, in Charlevoix. From 2002 to 2013, Lentz was the director of management accounting where he managed the sales, operating and capital budget process for several business and manufacturing facilities.
ACAT says Noirot will help build a team and continue the company’s growth while building a work culture that benefits management and staff.
Noirot comes to ACAT from DE-STA-CO, a manufacturer of material handling tools and automation equipment. She was a human resources generalist at their Charlevoix facility, where she advised management and supervisors on all aspects of labor and employment. She had previously served as human resources manager at A.L.P. Lighting.
