ACDelco announces new Advantage chassis lineup
ACDelco is launching its economically priced Advantage line of aftermarket chassis components.
“Because cars in North America are aging, consumers’ automotive repair needs and priorities are changing. The ACDelco Advantage Chassis lineup allows our distributors and service center customers to serve their customers with competitively priced Articles that offer fit, form and function similar to that of our great OE service parts,” says Vincent House, ACDelco Article manager, around the wheel.
“And with our range of Advantage, Professional and OE service Articles, we offer choices that help make decisions easier for consumers, while still ensuring quality.”
The ACDelco Advantage Chassis lineup will begin rolling out to distributors during the next several weeks. It will launch with more than 1,000 part numbers representing 90% of the volume of the premium ACDelco Professional Chassis lineup, which covers 95% of the North American car parc.
A recent report by R.L. Polk & Co. revealed that the average age of the North American passenger car fleet is now 10.2 years. The ACDelco Advantage Chassis lineup includes these higher-volume components. All are covered by a 12-month, 12,000-mile parts warranty.

ACDelco Advantage Chassis components are manufactured at TS16949-certified facilities to ensure consistently high quality; were designed with extensive engineering and data support; and undergo impact, wear and fatigue testing, the company notes.
Part quality and durability are further enhanced with technologies such as low-friction bearing designs and heat-treated forgings and ball studs. Hardware is included where needed for ease of installation by service technicians.
The ACDelco Advantage family launched in 2009 with a line of brake rotors, followed by brake friction components in 2010. New part numbers have been regularly added to expand the breadth and depth of market coverage.
