OTC releases Battery Replacement Reset Procedures Manual

OTC, a brand of SPX Corp., has released its new Battery Replacement Reset Procedure Manual (P/N 3220). The manual provides vehicle information and procedures for the removal and installation of vehicle batteries.

The OTC 3220 manual covers domestic and import vehicles from 2000 to 2011 model years, SPX says it offers the best information available today for servicing vehicles that have had battery service, replacement and/or loss of electrical power.

"The new OTC 3220 Battery Replacement Reset Procedures Manual gives technicians essential information for battery service in one convenient manual that saves them valuable time by providing information in a complete manual rather than having to go to multiple locations for information," said Andy Forsberg, OTC Article manager of Electronics at SPX Service Solutions.

Forsberg says the manual provides information such as battery access and service locations; battery disconnection precautions; power windows, locks and sunroof programming procedures; convenience accessory programming procedures; supplemental restraint and ABS system precautions; and engine and body control system resetting.

The new OTC manual is available in a book (P/N 3220) or CD format (P/N 3220CD). For more information visit www.otctools.com.
