New Clamp-in VDO Redi-Sensor Expands Coverage by 3 Million Vehicles

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has dramatically expanded vehicle application coverage by 3 million vehicles with its new Clamp-in VDO Redi-Sensor TPMS Sensor.

The new sensor, Part No. SE10002A, delivers the same coverage as the popular VDO Redi-Sensor SE10002, plus provides new coverage for over 3 million additional vehicles through model year 2016, with even more coverage pre-stored for future model years.

As with all VDO REDI-Sensors, SE10002A is ready to use, right out of the box. While many other tire pressure monitoring system sensors require aftermarket-specific sensor programming/cloning, VDO Redi-Sensors come pre-programmed and are designed to follow the vital OE vehicle relearn procedures with no added steps.

The company says the VDO Redi-Sensor works with all major TPMS scan tools and no new training is required.

With extensive coverage for domestic, European and Asian vehicles, VDO Redi-Sensors dramatically reducing the sensor SKUs needed to service incoming customers, according to Continental. Only four VDO REDI-Sensor SKUs are needed to replace over 250 OE sensors.
