Bartec Unveils a Cleaner for Turbochargers

Bartec USA LLC has introduced Revive Turbo Cleaner, which uses a patented chemical process to clean a turbocharger without disassembling the turbo itself.

The company says Revive Turbo Cleaner is a revolutionary new Article for cleaning a turbocharger without disassembling the turbo. The patented chemical process strips carbon and soot build up from inside the turbo as well as the engine, reviving the vehicle’s performance and potentially saving money, according to the company.

Revive comes in two application kits, the single application for engine displacements smaller than 5 liter, and the Big-T Kit for large displacement engines typically found in turbo diesel pickup trucks.

Revive Turbo Cleaner is one example of how Bartec is expanding its Article line, according to Scot Holloway, CEO.

He says Bartec’s strategy is to add complementary service related Articles to its existing line of tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tools and accessories.

“The Bartec Group is growing organically as well as through acquisition. This year we purchased the aftermarket tools specialists, SP Diagnostics,” he says.

SP Diagnostics, a global brand located in the United Kingdom, is a manufacturer of OBDII based diagnostic and service tools as well as a relatively new Revive Turbo Cleaner Article.

Revive will be on display at the 2016 SEMA Show and the Automotive Aftermarket Article Expo (AAPEX).  Bartec will be located at SEMA Booth’s #33309 and #40047, and AAPEX Booth #1073.
