Chicago Pneumatic Has New Compact Ratchet

Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. has launched a series of compact and ergonomic ratchets for a range of applications including heavy duty transmission and suspension jobs, lighter engine repair, dashboard work, and general maintenance.

The CP7829 & CP7829H ratchets come with two socket size options - 3/8 inch and ½ inch.

The company says the air tools deliver exceptional power, durability and user comfort in a large variety of workshop applications.

 With a strong breakaway torque of 70 ft.lbs (95Nm) and a fast rundown at 225RPM, advanced motor and a full caged gear, this ratchet gives the user maximum power, high speed, and superior durability, according to Chicago Pneumatic. It weighs just 2.6 lbs. (1.2 kg), is compact to allow users better access to restricted areas, and well balanced for improved user experience.

The company says the ratchets are safe and easy to operate with a progressive teasing throttle and ergonomic composite grip which insulates the operator’s hand from the cold.

The CP7829 andCP7829H ratchets are made in Japan so users can be assured of the manufacturing integrity, especially with regards to high quality and robustness, according to Chicago Pneumatic.
