Hill Assist Fix

This bulletin applies to 2019 Ford Explorer vehicles. In some affected vehicles, Hill Start Assist (HAS) is not enabled due to a software issue in the ABS module.

A service fix is now available for those affected vehicles. According to Ford, the program will be in effect through Aug. 30, 2020.

There is no mileage limit for this program.

Reprogramming the ABS module requires the use of Integrated Diagnostic Software (IDS) 114.04 or higher. You must be connected to the internet prior to reprogramming.
