The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has added National Auto Parts Warehouse and Autopartes El Progreso as new group members, effective Dec. 1, 2011.

National Auto Parts Warehouse (NPW) of Miami, Fla., joins as the newest Bumper to Bumper shareholder member and Autopartes El Progreso (El Progreso) of La Paz, BCS, Mexico, joins as the newest Auto Value shareholder member.

NPW currently operates five U.S. warehouse facilities. El Progreso operates one warehouse facility in La Paz, and four company-owned parts stores in the extreme Southern region of Baja California Sur, with a fifth scheduled to open in 2012.

“Larry Pacey and his team at NPW have a well-established record of successful growth as an independent warehouse in our market, while Humberto Osuna represents the third generation of family ownership at El Progreso,” says John Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “Their membership reinforces our group’s commitment to independent warehouse distribution, and their profiles perfectly match the high standards we have for acceptance into our group.
