Ingersoll Rand will be sponsoring Front Row Motorsports’ #55 Ford Fusion at the Bank of America 500 on Oct. 15, 2011, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, as part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The car will be driven by 2003 Craftsman Truck Series Champion Travis Kvapil.

“Ingersoll Rand has been in the pits for over 50 years with our legendary Thunder Gun Impactool,” says Nate Schmid, marketing manager for vehicle services with Ingersoll Rand. “We are very proud to be returning to the track as a primary sponsor.”

The company also is an associate sponsor of the #34 Ford Fusion, driven by David Gilliland, 2004 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series Rookie of the Year and son of NASCAR veteran Butch Gilliland.

Both cars will be racing in the Bank of America 500, which will be shown on television station ABC at 7:30 p.m. EST on Oct. 15.
