Purolator’s ‘Garage-A-Thon’ promotion offers eight weeks of daily prizes

The promotion is sponsored by Purolator, manufacturer and supplier of automotive filters to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket in North America. The Purolator Garage-A-Thon is a six-week promotion that kicked-off Aug. 29, 2011, for DIYers who are proud of their home garage, want to put it on display and get the chance to win prizes.

To enter, contestants must submit a photo of their garage along with a title and description. This gives the individual a chance to win a daily prize for eight weeks and compete for the grand prize of a Ford Mustang.

“Our primary goal with the Purolator Garage-A-Thon promotion is to engage Purolator’s Facebook community of DIY consumers,” says Monica Christensen, brand manager, Purolator Filters. “The Purolator Garage-A-Thon promotion gives these enthusiasts an opportunity to show off their garage and, at the same time, have a chance to win daily prizes including oil filters, Purolator promotional items, Hendrick Motor Sports merchandise, Bosch power tools, or even a mini fridge. Plus, they have the chance to win a classic car.”
