NASCAR event kicks off 14th Hovis store opening

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply recently held a grand opening event to celebrate its new location in Allison Park, Pa. The event featured NASCAR drivers and Federated spokesmen Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace, plus the #52 Federated ARCA car driven by Tom Hessert.

“We are excited to be in the Pittsburgh market with our fourteenth location,” says Cliff Hovis, president of Hovis Auto & Truck Supply. “We want to thank our valued customers, the two Kennys and Federated Auto Parts for making our event a huge success. Overall, it was a terrific day for everyone involved.”

More than 300 guests and customers attended. The grand opening event included a cookout lunch and prizes including Apple iPads, HP Mini Netbooks and autographed NASCAR memorabilia. Local country station Y108 was on hand with a live radio broadcast.

Located in western Pennsylvania, Hovis Auto and Truck Supply has been a family-owned business since 1952. Since that time, the company has grown to 14 locations including a new warehouse facility. Cliff Hovis serves on the executive committee and board of governors for Federated Auto Parts. Hovis Vice President Curt Hovis serves on a variety of paint, body and equipment manufacturer boards. In addition, Cliff has also served as a member of the board of governors of AWDA.
