New year, new magazine: Bobit Business Media adds publication

Bobit Business Media, which owns Auto Service Professional magazine and its properties, has acquired the magazine and digital assets of Auto Dealer Monthly LLC (ADM)

The acquisition includes the magazine Auto Dealer Monthly, the website, and the weekly e-newsletters Auto Dealer Monthly and Special Finance Insider.  Also included were the DealersChoice and   

ADM will expand Bobit Business Media’s footprint in the auto dealer market. Bobit Business Media publishes F&I and Showroom magazine (covering auto dealerships’ finance, insurance, showroom and sales topics) and produces an annual Industry Summit.

“Purchasing Auto Dealer Monthly leverages our synergies by covering parts of the market not currently covered by F&I and Showroom,” notes Sherb Brown, vice president, group publisher, AutoGroup, for Bobit Business Media.     

ADM covers a broad range of dealer topics including online marketing, special finance, service and lead generation. 

Bobit Business Media also entered into a long-term agreement with the founder of ADM, Greg Goebel, to continue to serve as master of ceremonies for the Special Finance Conference that takes place during the annual Industry Summit. Goebel is a former auto dealer and is currently a trainer and consultant.

Greg Arroyo will serve as acting editorial director for ADM and ADM-online, while Dave Gesualdo will serve as publisher. Anna Hildebrandt, national sales manager for ADM, will be joining Bobit Business Media and will continue to serve in the same capacity.
