The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) announced it has achieved a major milestone by surpassing 2.5 million credits awarded since the program launched in the fall of 1989. AMI is a leading provider of management education for the automotive service industry.

The continuing education offered by the institute helps automotive service professionals improve their business management skills. In addition to providing business management classes, the institute offers the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation, the industry’s first business education accreditation.

AMI courses concentrate on five core areas of business management education: financial management, marketing and sales, operations and service, management and administration, and personnel and human resource development.

“AMI has continued to grow and succeed because continuing education is an excellent investment. Without a doubt, a well-educated workforce is more prepared to meet the challenges of today’s rapidly changing industry,” says AMI chairman Tony Passwater.
