Chrysler Cruise Recall

Chrysler announced a recall involving the cruise control systems on a variety of 2014-2019 vehicles, including Ram trucks, Durango, Journey, Chrysler 300, 200 and Pacifica, Dodge Charger and Challenger and Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler models, built from June 2012 to May 2018.

The recall addresses a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. A potential short circuit in the system wiring may not allow the driver to shut off the cruise control by either depressing the brake or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged.
