Whistle While You Work

Some 2009-2013 Lincoln Navigator vehicles built on or before May 1, 2013, may exhibit a high pitched whistle noise with the A/C on and higher blower motor speeds.

With the engine running and A/C on with the blower motor set on high, verify the noise by applying upward hand pressure to the bottom of the blower motor.

If the noise dissipates, remove the heater core and evaporator core housing. Remove six screws and replace the air inlet duct.

Reinstall the heater core and evaporator core housing.
