Carter Fuel Systems Earns Supplier Quality Award

Carter Fuel Systems has been recognized by Paccar Inc. with the 10 Parts Per Million (PPM) Quality Award.

Paccar Inc. is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of premium light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. Meeting the rigorous “10 PPM” standard is the equivalent of only 10 defective parts for every million components shipped to Paccar.

Carter Fuel Systems’ manufacturing facilities were honored for their commitment to excellent quality and warranty performance in providing Paccar with products that achieved 10 ppm or better level of quality. Receiving this honor requires meeting demanding criteria for delivery performance, customer support and business impact. Carter Fuel Systems is one of Paccar’s suppliers throughout 26 countries.

“Since Carter’s inception over one century ago, we have remained steadfast in our dedication to deliver the highest quality fuel systems on the market,” said Kevin O’Dowd, vice president and chief marketing officer at Trico Group. “We’re honored to be recognized for this commitment to quality by a company as savvy as Paccar, who shares our ideals regarding product quality and consistency.”

Trico Group serves the global automotive industry — original equipment and automotive aftermarket parts and systems — with product technologies including wipers/wiper systems, fuel pumps, water pumps, filters, spark plugs and lift supports.
