Snap-on Welding Creeper is designed for safety

Snap-on Inc. says its new Welding Creeper (P/N JCW60WLD) designed for safety as well as comfort for any environment that does welding and cutting.

“The new Snap-on Welding Creeper is the ideal solution for customers that do metal fabrication jobs and need to gain access under vehicles,” says Mike DeKeuster, category manager for Snap-on. “It will withstand slag and spatter burns when welding or cutting and is extremely comfortable and durable.”

Features and benefits include:

  • Westex Indura fabric that offers resistance to flash fire, molten metal, and welding exposures;
  • Fabric and foam pad that meet California Technical Bulletin117, Section E, and UFAC Class 1 for flammability;
  • Fire-retardant, heavy-duty 5/8-inch-thick plywood and high density foam padding for comfort; and
  • A 16-gauge, ¾-inch square-tube steel frame designed with ample shoulder clearance.

Dimensions are 40 inches long, 17 inches wide and four inches high. The creeper also has ball-bearing swivel casters and only weighs 16 pounds.
