Remote start glitch

Some 2013 Ford Focus vehicles equipped with the 2.0L GDI (gasoline direct injection) engine and with Intelligent Access remote start feature, and built on or before 4-1-2013, may exhibit DTC P025A/U0109/P0103 stored in the powertrain control module memory.

When using the remote start feature, customers may experience a crank no-start or stall shortly after the vehicle is driven.

Reprogram the BCM (body control module) to the latest calibration using IDS release 83.0r or higher.

Calibration files may be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
