Time to Recalibrate the Outlander

This bulletin applies to 2007 and later Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles where the ABS light flashes after ASC  ECU replacement.

After replacing the ASC hydraulic unit, the ABS light will flash with no DTCs stored. After battery disconnection or ASC hydraulic unit replacement, it is necessary to recalibrate the steering angle sensor and the G and yaw rate sensors using the MUT-III Main Menu.

Select “system select” and enter the vehicle information.

Select ABS/ASC/ASTC

Select “Special Function”

Select “All Sensor Calibration” to complete the available calibrations. Don’t forget to erase all DTCs when finished.
