Check the Nuts First

Some owners of 2011 GMC Acadia vehicles may complain about a pop or snap type noise from the front suspension when going over bumps.

This noise may be coming from the stabilizer link(s). Closely inspect the stabilizer link end(s) for a damaged boot and/or loose joint. If faulty, replace.

If no visible damage is found, before replacing parts, check and re-torque the link nuts. If the noise is gone after re-torquing, there is no need to replace the links

Stabilizer link to stabilizer shaft..... 55 ft.-lbs.
